Our candles are clean burning 100% soy wax with self trimming cotton wicks and and are hand poured in small batches.
All of our fragrance oils are free of harmful phthalates and we use only premium oils--no seconds here!
Benefits of 100% soy candles:
Soy wax biodegrades and is a fully renewable resource making our candles an environmentally friendly option, as well as smelling fantastic.
Soy-based candles offer soft, natural lighting with none of the dangers associated with burning materials such as paraffin wax.
Soy candle wax supports American Soy Farmers.
We use 100% cotton wicks, providing a consistent, stable flame free of heavy metal & zinc.
Our soy candles wax burn without creating the soot or smoke.
Soy wax burns at a cooler temperature, meaning that your candle will burn for more hours (up to 50% longer lasting) than a paraffin candle of the same size.
When lighting for the first time allow your soy candle for 1 hour for each inch of its diameter, until you receive a full melt pool (soy wax is melted across the entire top of soy candle). For example: burn the 24 oz and 17 oz candles for 3 hours and the 7 oz candle for 2 hours to recieve a full melt pool. Failure to do this will cause "tunneling" which will limit the life of the candle.
Extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will help with re-lighting the next time.
Did you know:
Soy wax tends to have a 'rustic' look after the melt pool has cooled. This is due to the natural makeup of the wax and in no way affects the way your candle will burn.
Soy wax can be cleaned from surfaces with hot soap and water, but remember although it is bio-degradable, it is still wax! Avoid pouring down your drains.
Please remember these candles are hand poured, not massed produced. We make every effort to ensure consistency, however every candle will be a little different. When using completely natural 100% soy wax, sometimes you may notice darker patches or "wet" spots in your container candles. This is not a fault, simply a small blemish where the wax has not adhered to the glass 100%. The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven, this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
Thank you & Enjoy!!
